Rev. Jim Stratton
Head Pastor
Jim Stratton is the founding pastor of Riveted Church. He has been a pastor for over twenty-five years. He followed God's calling to plant Riveted Church in 2008, and with the support of a few families, made that leap of faith. Today Riveted is a growing church, working to meet the needs of its community and congregation. Riveted is very focused on impacting the community and, in fact, one of Bro. Jim's favorite verses to encourage Riveted to live out this community focused life is Jeremiah 29:7, "But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare."
Pastor Jim graduated from John Brown University and received his Masters Degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served at the Tulsa Metro Baptist Network for many years, was the TMBN President and has been asked to speak at conferences and churches.
Jim and his wife, Mindy have been married for over 27 years and along with their 3 children have ministered in Skiatook for over 22 years. On a personal note, Bro. Jim enjoys family, friends, sports, staying in shape and living a healthy lifestyle. He began running several years ago and his love for taking care of his "temple" has encouraged many others to do the same.

Steven Sherrill
Youth Minister
Hey friends! I just Wanted to take a little bit and introduce me and my family to you. My Name is Steven and I am married to an amazing woman named Amy. She and I met while we were attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. After getting over the initial stages of thinking each other was yucky, we got married and pretty quickly we, well Amy, got pregnant with our daughter Lillie. By this time both of us were in school full time, I worked full time, and the Lord was allowing us to serve part time at a tiny little church about 45 minutes from our house outside Tahlequah. Life was busy, but the Lord was gracious and we both graduated NSU and managed to find some sleep in the meantime. After I completed my schooling in 2006 we moved and got regular jobs. After a few months the Lord begin to really focus our hearts and minds towards ministry in the local church and in His providence moved us to work full time at Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore. After almost four years of great times (and even some rough times) and two more kiddos, the Lord spoke very clearly to us that He was beginning a new chapter and we were just gonna have to walk in faith not knowing all of the details. And that brings us to Riveted. We are loving serving any way that we can in this great church and are looking forward to more opportunities to serve and grow. We look forward to meeting you!
Favorite verse/passage: Right now it would have to be 2 Cor. 5:21, Ephesians 2:1-10, and the entire book of Colossians. There is a whole bunch, haha.
Favorite things to do: Splash pad in Skiatook, swimming in the pool, eating good food, and drinking probably way too much Diet Dr. Pepper

Mindy Stratton
Worship Leader
Mindy Stratton is the wife of Jim Stratton and is also our Worship Leader. She is an amazing musician and extremely talented song writer. Worship at our church is progressive. We sing a great mixture of hymns, contemporary music and original songs. Mindy and our talented band members desire more than anything, that you meet with God, through worship. Worship is a time for us to give God our adoration and thanks for who He is, all He has done and continues to do. His word, character and heart for us is the key theme of any music we sing at Riveted. When we worship we are reminded of our imperfection and need for help. We are reminded that God gave His perfect Son, Jesus, to bring us that help. Through Jesus' perfect sacrifice we are made righteous. And because of that, He deserves our very best and most ardent worship! Mindy's heart for you, is that these "worship songs will stick with you through the week and remind you how much God loves you!"
